An independent, voluntary system to ensure food safety for primary agricultural production.

Under the terms of the Cooperative’s quality policy as well as Agricultural Policy each producer is obliged to keep books on mushroom cultivation and regularly update them with the dates of technological treatments and procedures which were applied as well as harvest and delivery dates. The Cooperative constantly coordinates work related to the application of the GlobalGap quality system in the associated mushroom farms.

Implementation and GlobalGap certification guarantees:

  • high quality and food safety of the product,
  • obtaining proof for the compliance of the production process with international standards, making the product more competitive on the market,
  • production costs reduction, which is related to the optimization of production processes, that is: increased efficiency in the use of natural resources and reduced application of crop protection chemicals.
  • minimizing the negative impact on the environment by using various techniques of restoration and nature preservation.
